Untitled
I took this photograph of Iris back in 2007. If only I could go back in time and re-take this photo with film.
Reflections
I was standing at my balcony door looking outside (into the neighbours apartments) when I saw my wife & son in the reflection of the door.
NYC Polaroids
I’m an addict for Polaroids. I quickly scanned a couple shots I took in New York City about 3 years back…
Things will never ever be the same
I took a roll of photos with my point and shoot Leica in my Nana’s house the night before she passed away in hospital from complications of a stroke. I spent 7 days and nights by her bedside and every couple days I would drive to her house to shower before returning to her bedside. I am not great with words, and I cannot explain why I took these photos, it probably had to do with me not wanting to forget how everything used to be. Its been 6 months since her passing, everything photographed would have been thrown in the garbage by now and things will never ever be the same.
Road Trip: New York City
I made the 5 hour drive from Toronto to Pittsburgh just two weeks earlier, today I found myself sitting in a rental car on my way to New York City. I’ve been married for almost 3 years now and it is always hard for me to leave my family when I travel.
The statue of Liberty was hustling on the street corner, he covered his face so I couldn’t get a clear shot. Reason being I didn’t put any change in his jar. I’m glad he did, makes for a better photograph.
Made my first trip to Coney Island in Brooklyn, and DAMN it was cold. The strong winds from the frozen water. As you can see not to many ventured to the beach.
Road Trip: Pittsburgh
My wife, kids and I recently travelled to Pittsburgh on a last minute road trip. It was my first trip to Pittsburgh, after visiting Warhol’s musem I was on a mission to find Andy Warhol’s childhood home. I am a huge Warhol fan and watch his documentaries religously.
As you can see I found it! My son Tristen and I posed for a picture.
